Business Program
Welcome to NMJC's Business program! The goal of the Business program is to offer a fundamental study of best practices in business based on relevant advisement of our business community. Upon successful graduation, with either an AAS degree or a certificate, students are prepared to enter the workforce or prepared for transfer to an institution of higher education to further their academic endeavors.
The Business degree or certificate plan provides students with coursework covering financial, management, and legal practices and procedures. Students also study the verbal, written, and teamwork skills needed for a professional business career.
Concerning career and advancement opportunities, most businesses, governmental and non-profit organizations employ Business majors. The U. S. Department of Labor Statistics Job Outlook Handbook predicts that both full and part time employment for persons with Business education is expected to grow faster than average.
