The Western Heritage Museum, an integral part of the Hobbs community, is delighted to unveil its newest attraction: an enchanting indoor ice-skating rink, enhancing the holiday experience for visitors of all ages.
Laura Hockensmith, Executive Director of the Western Heritage Museum, expressed the institution's unwavering commitment to providing engaging experiences for visitors, spanning captivating exhibits, educational initiatives, and beloved family activities like Family Fun Days.
"The staff of the Western Heritage Museum is proud to be part of the Hobbs community, and we are always striving to bring new and exciting things for our visitors," said Hockensmith. ". We added this indoor ice-skating rink to our holiday displays because we wanted to provide a fun, safe, family-friendly activity that people can share all season long, while creating lasting memories and new holiday family traditions."
Since opening its doors on Dec. 1, the indoor ice-skating rink has seen an incredible turnout, captivating the interest of over 100 enthusiastic skaters. The museum team eagerly anticipates welcoming many more individuals and families seeking joyful experiences throughout the holiday season.
The indoor skating rink at the Western Heritage Museum will remain open to the public, offering the chance to glide and twirl on the skating rink until Feb. 29, 2024.
