New Mexico Junior College (NMJC) proudly announces the grand opening of the Thunderbird Health Clinic, an on-site clinic exclusively catering to NMJC students, employees, and dependents covered by NMJC insurance. The Thunderbird Health Clinic promises to be a vital resource for the NMJC students, employees, and their immediate families providing essential acute care services conveniently located on campus.

The Thunderbird Health Clinic is set to officially open its doors with a grand opening ceremony on Apr. 24th at 10:30 AM. Certified Nurse Practitioner, Jessica Barrera, has is excitedly ready to serve patients at the clinic, offering her expertise and dedication to the well-being of the NMJC community.

Designed to meet the unique healthcare needs of NMJC's diverse population, the Thunderbird Health Clinic will focus on delivering high-quality acute care services. From common ailments to medical concerns, the clinic aims to provide prompt and efficient care to ensure the health and safety of NMJC students, employees, and their dependents.

The Thunderbird Health Clinic offers the convenience of walk-in appointments, eliminating the hassle of scheduling. Patients can access the clinic during operating hours, which are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, making it easier for individuals to seek medical attention without much disruption to their busy schedules.

As NMJC continues to prioritize the well-being of their students, faculty, and staff, the opening of the Thunderbird Health Clinic marks a significant milestone in enhancing access to essential healthcare services. NMJC welcomed members of the NMJC board, Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Hobbs Chamber of Commerce, The Hobbs Ambassadors, Nor-Lea CEO and employees, and NMJC campus community to join in commemorating this milestone and to take advantage of the valuable healthcare resources now available at the Thunderbird Health Clinic. NMJC was awarded the key to the city by the Chamber of Commerce, Certificate of Appreciation from the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and Welcome to the City of Hobbs Business Community from The Hobbs Ambassadors.
