New Mexico Junior College is hosting its first ever Thunderbird Welcome Weekend!

This event was created with NMJC Alumni, family
and friends, all of Lea County and surrounding communities in mind. With a weekend full of fun
activities, including a golf tournament, an alumni baseball game, an NMJC volleyball conference game, rodeo reunion, a fun run/walk for all ages, youth camps and concerts on the itinerary, this event is going to be one for the books!

Out-of-town attendees will be afforded an opportunity to reserve hotel rooms at a discounted rate. Details to follow.

The NMJC Success Fund supports education at NMJC through scholarships and program assistance.  Several departments on campus benefit from this fund throughout each year.

SkillsUSA has been a part of our New Mexico Junior College campus for over 30 years and is active at the local, state and national levels,
proudly representing NMJC!
Members of SkillsUSA NMJC Chapter participate
in Community Service each semester and are responsible for raising funds to travel to leadership and skills events, such as the Fall
Leadership Conference, Local Leadership Trainings, State Leadership, Skills Championships, and visit the Roundhouse in Santa Fe.

The 25th Annual NMJC Foundation Golf Tournament will be held Saturday June 7, 2025 @Rockwind Community Links

Over the years, proceeds from this 
annual event, together with other 
donations, have funded over $3.3 million 
in scholarships and more than $1.2 million in program assistance!

Due to the generosity of individuals, trusts, companies, NMJC faculty and staff, NMJC Foundation is afforded the opportunity to award from over 80 Scholarships annually to our Students.

Thunderbird Pantry

NMJC has a variety of students from all different parts of the world that attend here. Your donations will help fund toiletries/ life essentials in our pantry that students may 
need but are unable to access due to financial issues

PUMP IT FORWARD is a scholarship
program that provides a $300 partial scholarship to each approved Lease Pumper student that applies. 
This reduces the student's registration cost for the two-week Lease Pumper Training by $300. With the scholarship and early registration, a student can complete this training  for $900.00.

The annual fee for this plate is $37. $25 of the fee will go to the NMJC Foundation to support student scholarships.
