NMJC Student Clubs Gear Up for Halloween

October 25 — Hobbs, NM. The New Mexico Junior College campus will be buzzing with fun activities between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25 in front of the Caster Activity Center.

Nine student clubs will provide various booths during the Fall Carnival Festival for students and community members to try their luck for fun prizes, raffles and other giveaways. The activities include a pie toss, raffle for an electronic item, candy apples, a coin toss, candy count and book sale, basketball and football toss, an evening getaway package and a cake walk.

"The money raised during this event will assist the clubs in their various trips to state and national conferences and contests," said DeMond Thomas, NMJC coordinator of student activities and intramurals. "The organizations have put a lot of time and hard work into making this a fun time for those on campus as well as members of the community who would like to come out and participate."
