St. Jude Workout to Be Held at NMJC's Del Norte Center

March 5 — Hobbs, NM. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital announced today the NMJC Del Norte Center will be conducting a St. Jude Workout to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on April 17, 2004. Locally, Mr. Robert Wingo has volunteered to coordinate the program.

At St. Jude, scientists and physicians work side-by-side seeking not only better means of treatment, but also the cause, cure, and prevention of these terrible killers. All information gained at St. Jude is shared freely with other hospitals and institutions the world over bringing the benefit of St. Jude's research to all children.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, was founded by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas. The hospital is an internationally recognized .biomedical research center dedicated to finding cures for catastrophic diseases of childhood. The hospital¹s work is supported through funds raised by the American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC). ALSAC covers all costs not covered by insurance for medical treatment rendered at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Families without insurance are never asked to pay.
