NMJC Law Enforcement Academy Graduation

 New Mexico Junior College’s Southeastern New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy graduated its 24th class on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.

The 17 cadets of the 24th SNMLETA completed over 800 hours of classroom and practical training and have Enforcement Officer Certification, which certifies them as police officers for the state of New Mexico.

The graduates included: Officer Laura Aguirre—Hobbs PD, Officer Rory Castaneda—Carlsbad PD, Officer Brandon Floyd—Clovis PD, Deputy Victor J. Hernandez—Lea County Sheriff’s Department, Officer Christopher Hughs—Alamogordo D.P.S., Officer Andrew Jiminez—Hobbs PD, Deputy Katie Kesan—Otero County Sheriff’s Department, Officer Tyler D. Marney—Portales PD, Officer Christopher McCasland—Portales PD, Deputy Kacey McFadden—Socorro County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Allen L. Perez—Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Carey Ridings—Lea County Sheriff’s Department, Officer Adrian D. Salcido—Alamogordo D.P.S., Officer Katrina Smith—Dexter PD, Officer Jessica Turner—Tularosa PD, Officer Mauricio Valeriano—Jal PD, and Officer Brian Wanzor—Clovis PD.
