It’s Not Too Late to Register for NMJC’s Summer Session I

Students considering attending New Mexico Junior College’s Summer Session 1, which begins Monday, May 24, 2010 and goes through June 24, 2010, have until Wednesday, May 26th to register.

According to Dr. Michele Clingman, Dean of Enrollment Management, “students can also register for the 8 week online courses through Wednesday, May 26th. The 8 week online session will run through July 15th.”

“Students who aren’t seeking credit, but want to take a course or two for fun,” said Clingman, “will also have until May 26th to register. In that case they would simply be auditing the class rather than receiving a grade counted toward a degree. If someone wanted to take an exercise class or art class, for instance, but did not want to take the exams or attend every class, they would benefit from an audited course.”
