NMJC to Offer Online Winter Break Classes
11/2/2009 1:23:04 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. New Mexico Junior College will be offering four online Winter Break classes beginning December 10 and ending January 7.
The four courses are Agriculture Industries Orientation taught by Clay Hardin; Child Psychology taught by Dr. Regina Organ; Psychology of Adjustment taught by Pam Callan; and Interpersonal Communications taught by John Howard.
According to Dr. John Gratton, Vice President for Instruction, the courses are scheduled for students' convenience during the break between the fall and spring semesters. "Because each course may be taken for 3 credit hours," Gratton said, "students can possibly earn as much as 12 credit hours prior to the Spring 2010 semester. It's a great way to get in some extra hours toward a degree in a short amount of time."
According to Gratton, returning students may register online for the Winter Break classes at www.nmjc.edu, while first-time students will need to register by contacting the Counseling Office at (575) 492-2577.
