NMJC Fall 2008 Semester
8/14/2008 9:24:59 a.m. - Hobbs, NM. It's that time of year again - time for a new semester at New Mexico Junior College. Fall classes begin Monday, August 18, 2008, but late registration continues through Friday, August 22, 2008.
New or returning students may stop by the registration office in the Ben Alexander Student Center to register for classes. Counselors are also available from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, in the Student Center to assist incoming students.
Students can go online to www.nmjc.edu/academics/courseschedule.aspx, to see the variety of courses available. Online and evening classes are available in many, many areas for student convenience. Also, area residents can take Distance Learning iTV courses where they can have face-to-face interaction with their professor from the convenience of their local high school.
Want to take a class, but don't want to worry about grades? Maybe you want to take a fitness class, but not for credit. Try auditing the class and enjoy every minute. NMJC has the option of auditing any class you chose. Students may register to audit until September 5. Anyone interested in this option can find out more by calling (575) 392-4510 or asking about it during registration.
The NMJC bookstore is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, and has the books students need to get started. Students can stop by or go online to www.nmjcbookstore.com to purchase books for each course.
New Mexico Junior College is excited to be starting another semester and looks forward to seeing you. For more information, please call (575) 392-4510.
