Its Not Too Late to Register for Summer Session I

5/22/2008 9:14:31 a.m. - Hobbs, NM. Students considering attending New Mexico Junior College's Summer Session I, which begins Tuesday, May 27, 2008, and goes through June 26, 2008, have an extra day to make up their minds.

According to Dr. Michele Clingman, Dean of Enrollment Management, students can actually register through Wednesday, May 28, if they want to receive college credit for the classes.

"Students who aren't seeking credit, but would enjoy taking a course or two for fun," said Clingman, "have until June 4 to register. In that case they would simply be auditing the class rather than receiving a grade counted toward a degree. If someone wanted to take an exercise class or art class, for instance, but did not want to take the exams or attend every class, would benefit from an audited course."
