NMJC Rodeo Activities at the College National Finals Rodeo

NMJC Rodeo Activities at the College National Finals Rodeo photo 6/11/2007 4:01:24 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. New Mexico Junior College will have three of its rodeo team members, Kyle French, Alicia Sandoval, and JW Townsend, participating at the College National Finals Rodeo this week in Casper, Wyoming.

French, who finished second regionally, competed in the first round of bull riding on Sunday, June 10, finishing with a no score. French will have additional rounds of action on June 11 and 15.

Sandoval will compete in the first round of barrel racing on Monday, June 11, with additional rounds on June 12 and 13. Sandoval finished as the CNFR runner-up in barrel racing last year.

Townsend's first day of competition will begin on Monday, June 11, in the team-roping event. On Tuesday, June 12, and Wednesday, June 13, Townsend will also finish up roping action.
