Temporary Relocation of NMJC Offices
5/18/2007 5:08:54 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. A number of offices in the Ben Alexander Student Learning Center at New Mexico Junior College have been temporarily relocated until the end of June while flooring renovations are made.
According to Dr. John Gratton, Academic Vice President, the following offices have been relocated as follows:
The Counseling & Registrar's Offices have moved to the central area of the John Shepherd Administration Building; Financial Aid offices have moved to Mansur Hall in Rooms 128, 129E and 129F; Recruiting Offices have moved to Mansur Hall in 129C and 129D; the Learning Assistance Center (computer lab, tutoring program and offices) has moved to the second floor of Pannell Library; the GED Testing Room has moved to Mansur Hall in Room 125; the office of the Chief GED Examiner has moved to Mansur Hall in Room 103A; and the NMJC Bookstore will stay where it currently is, although students will need to use the back entrance in the stairwell. Students can also order books and supplies online at www.nmjcbookstore.com.
Persons wishing to visit any of these offices are encouraged to call the college at 575.392.4510 prior to coming.
The Western Heritage Museum & Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame is also undergoing flooring renovations and will also be closed until the end of June.
