The mission of the New Mexico Junior College Student Health clinic is to promote the health and well-being of the college community through the prevention and care of acute medical conditions.

Objectives

Assist students,faculty & staff members with management of health care needs.
Refer individuals to local health care providers when necessary.
Provide educational and health prevention opportunities to the college community throughout the academic year.

Hours & Location

Operational hours will be posted outside the clinic and will vary weekly.

Services Provided:

Evaluation of acute medical conditions, with recommendations for care
Treatment of minor emergencies
Health physicals as required by the NMJC activity or degree program
Pamphlets on medical issues
Health education opportunities
Referrals for care, as needed

How To Use the Health Clinic

Call 575.492.2538 for an appointment or come by the clinic at the above listed address. When you arrive at the Health Clinic, check in at the front desk. If this is your first visit, you will be required to complete a medical history form. This is necessary to best serve your medical needs.

Consideration is always given to students with sudden, severe illness or injury who may be seen on a walk-in basis. All clients who are present prior to closing time, with or without an appointment, will be seen that day.
